AI Safety Engine
An enterprise infrastructure platform should not wake you up at 3:00 AM for a problem that can be resolved systematically.
Because RasnuOS maintains an active, bi-directional WebSocket connection to the Agent on your server, the Control Plane is constantly ingesting high-resolution telemetry — CPU load, memory consumption, disk IO, and active Health Check results.
Autonomous Remediation
You can authorize the AI AutoPilot to act autonomously when specific conditions are detected. The key word is autonomously — which is why this capability is governed by a strict set of safety constraints that you configure.
When a daemon crash or an application error is detected, instead of paging an on-call engineer, the system acts immediately:
- The Agent reports the service failure to the Control Plane via the persistent WebSocket.
- The AutoPilot generates a deterministic
restart_serviceintent, targeting the specific failing daemon (e.g., your Node.js API process, a Go binary managed by systemd, a Python Gunicorn worker, or an Nginx reverse proxy). - The Control Plane verifies the intent against the active Safety Policy for that server.
- If the policy permits the action, the cryptographically signed command is issued to the Agent.
- The Agent executes the restart locally and reports the result.
- The incident — including the detection, the decision to act, and the outcome — is permanently written to the Audit Logs.
Downtime is reduced from the 15 minutes it takes an on-call engineer to wake up and log in, to under 3 seconds.
Safety Policies
Every autonomous action is gated by the Safety Policy you define for each Server Group.
A Safety Policy is a precise contract that specifies exactly which actions the AutoPilot is permitted to execute without human approval. For example, you might authorize:
- Auto-restart of crashed application daemons — always allowed.
- Firewall rule restoration when the Compliance Scanner detects an exposed port — allowed after a 30-second confirmation window.
- Database failover — requires explicit human approval from an Owner or Admin.
This model ensures that routine, low-risk operations are handled instantly, while high-stakes, irreversible operations always require a human in the loop.
Compliance Auto-Remediation
This self-healing capability extends naturally to security compliance.
If the continuous Compliance Scanner detects that a developer accidentally exposed a database port to the public internet, the AutoPilot can automatically issue an intent to the Agent to restore the host firewall rules to their previously verified, secure baseline state — preventing a potential data breach before a human even realizes the misconfiguration occurred.
