Bare Metal & Native Services

While containerization is the modern standard, many enterprise workloads—particularly massive legacy monoliths or ultra-high-performance trading algorithms—still demand the raw execution speed of bare metal.

RasnuOS does not force you into Docker. The Agent possesses full administrative capability to orchestrate the underlying host operating system.

Native Daemon Management

If you are deploying a compiled Go binary, a Rust microservice, or a Laravel Horizon queue worker, it must be kept alive by the operating system.

Instead of manually writing .service files and memorizing systemctl commands, RasnuOS orchestrates systemd directly.

You simply define your daemon in the dashboard:

• Command: /usr/bin/node /var/www/app/server.js
• User: www-data
• Restart Policy: Always

The RasnuOS Agent writes the native systemd configuration, enables the service on boot, and streams the standard output directly to your browser via a WebSocket tunnel.

Native Package Management

The RasnuOS Agent natively understands the OS package manager (apt, yum, dnf, pacman).

You can explicitly define which native packages (e.g., ffmpeg, libpng-dev, redis-server) are required by your application. The agent will ensure they are installed and kept securely up-to-date, eliminating the "it works on my machine" problem on bare metal servers.
