DNS Management
Deploying a web application is useless if DNS is not properly routed. Manually logging into your registrar to update A and CNAME records every time you provision a new server is a massive source of human error and downtime.
RasnuOS supports native DNS provider integrations, allowing the control plane to manage your records automatically.
Supported DNS Providers
By linking API keys for the following providers, RasnuOS gains the ability to orchestrate your zones:
- Cloudflare
- AWS Route 53
- DigitalOcean DNS
- Hetzner DNS
Automated Provisioning
When you attach a domain (e.g., app.example.com) to a Site or a Docker Compose project, RasnuOS will automatically detect if the root domain (example.com) is managed by one of your connected DNS credentials.
If it is, the Control Plane will automatically generate the required A and AAAA records, pointing the subdomain precisely to the public IP address of the underlying server.
High-Availability Failover
When combined with our Migration Engine, native DNS integration becomes incredibly powerful.
If you execute a zero-downtime migration of a stateful database and application from an AWS server in Virginia to a Hetzner server in Germany, RasnuOS will automatically execute the DNS cutover via the Cloudflare API the exact millisecond the database replication lag reaches zero.
