AI Continuations & Tasks

The AI AutoPilot is not restricted to instant commands. Infrastructure orchestration often involves long-running tasks—such as migrating a 50GB database or building a massive Docker image.

Asynchronous Continuations

If an orchestrator requires you to keep your browser tab open while a process runs, it is a flawed design.

When you ask the AutoPilot to perform a long-running action, it initiates an Asynchronous Task. The AI explicitly instructs the Agent to run the process in the background. You can safely close your laptop, and the Agent will continue executing.

Webhook Notifications

Once the background continuation completes, the Agent fires a secure callback to the Control Plane.

If you have configured Outbound Webhooks (like a Slack integration), the AI AutoPilot will instantly notify you of the task's completion or failure, providing the exact logs from the moment of execution.
