Local, Edge & Personal Devices
Because traditional infrastructure management tools rely on inbound SSH connections, they physically require the target server to have a Public IP Address exposed to the internet.
This creates a massive blind spot for modern enterprises. What if you want to manage a fleet of IoT devices? What if your developers want to use the RasnuOS dashboard to orchestrate Docker Compose on their local Macbook? What if you have a private "homelab" behind a strict ISP router?
The NAT & Firewall Problem Solved
RasnuOS completely bypasses this limitation. Because the RasnuOS Agent uses an outbound-only polling architecture, it does not need a public IP address, and it does not require you to configure Port Forwarding on your router.
As long as the device has an outbound connection to the internet (specifically outbound HTTPS/443), it can be fully managed by RasnuOS.
Supported Edge Environments
1. IoT & Edge Computing (Raspberry Pi)
(Coming Soon) Deploy the RasnuOS agent to fleets of Raspberry Pis or industrial edge devices running ARM architectures.
- You can group 500 edge devices into a "Warehouse Kiosks" Server Group.
- Deploy a unified Docker container to all 500 devices simultaneously with a single click.
- Monitor their live CPU temperatures and network health globally.
2. Private Homelabs & Air-Gapped Networks
Run Proxmox, VMware, or bare-metal servers in your basement or a heavily firewalled corporate intranet?
- Install the agent.
- It will instantly appear in your cloud dashboard.
- You can manage internal, local-only applications (like a local instance of Nextcloud or Plex) securely without exposing your home network to the public internet.
3. Local Developer Machines (Laptops)
(Coming Soon) Developers often struggle to replicate complex production environments locally. By installing the RasnuOS agent on a local macOS or Windows laptop, developers can use the RasnuOS AI AutoPilot to scaffold local PostgreSQL databases, configure local Nginx proxies, and run complex Docker Compose stacks identically to how they run in production.
(And because the agent executes natively on the OS, you could technically use the conversational AI to change your Macbook's desktop background or skip your Spotify track... though we highly recommend sticking to database orchestration!)
