Multi-Tenant Managed Hosting

If you are a SaaS platform provisioning dedicated database instances for every new customer, managing the infrastructure manually is impossible.

Scenario 1 (Easy): Automated Client Provisioning

The Challenge: Every time a new client signs up, you need to spin up a new server, install the database, and configure an SSL certificate. Doing this manually takes 2 hours per client.

The RasnuOS Solution:

  1. Programmatic Provisioning: When a client pays via Stripe, your billing backend hits the RasnuOS REST API to trigger the provisioning of a new server via a predefined Server Template.
  2. Total Isolation: RasnuOS boots the server, configures the required software, and issues the SSL certificates without any human intervention.

Scenario 2 (Hard): High-Density Container Orchestration with Hard Quotas

The Challenge: You run a managed WordPress hosting agency. To maintain profit margins, you need to pack 500 individual WordPress sites onto a single massive bare-metal server. However, if one client's site goes viral (or gets hacked), it will consume 100% of the server's CPU, taking down the other 499 clients.

The RasnuOS Solution:

  1. eBPF Resource Quotas: Using RasnuOS's advanced workload engine, you deploy each client's site into its own isolated container environment. You use the RasnuOS API to enforce strict cgroups kernel limitations on each site: maximum 512MB RAM, and maximum 1 CPU core.
  2. Noisy Neighbor Prevention: When Client A goes viral, their specific container hits the 1 CPU core hard limit and begins throttling. The remaining 127 cores on the bare-metal server remain completely untouched, ensuring the other 499 clients experience zero latency.
  3. Automated Upselling: Because the RasnuOS Agent is tracking this telemetry, it fires an Outbound Webhook to your CRM when Client A hits their limit. Your CRM automatically emails Client A: "Your site is receiving massive traffic! Click here to upgrade to our Premium $99/mo plan for 4 CPU cores."
  4. Hot-Swapping: When the client pays, your CRM hits the RasnuOS API again, instantly raising their kernel limitation from 1 core to 4 cores without requiring a server reboot or container restart.
