Stack-Agnostic Philosophy
A fundamental principle of the RasnuOS platform is that infrastructure should not dictate your software architecture. We call this our "Any Stack, Anywhere" philosophy.
Whether you are deploying a legacy PHP monolith, a modern containerized microservices architecture, or a massive Kubernetes cluster, RasnuOS provides the same unified management interface, security guarantees, and AI-driven automation.
Supported Deployment Models
1. Bare Metal & Native Services
For workloads that require absolute maximum performance without virtualization overhead, RasnuOS can configure the underlying host Operating System directly.
- True Language Independence: We don't maintain a hardcoded list of "supported" languages. If your application can run on Linux, Windows, or macOS, RasnuOS can deploy it, manage its daemon, and monitor its health.
- Native Ecosystems: Whether you need Nginx for a static site, a clustered PostgreSQL database, or a custom compiled C++ binary, the agent seamlessly manages systemd services, local firewall rules, and native package managers (apt, yum, pacman, brew, choco).
2. Docker & Containerized Workloads
For modern, portable applications, RasnuOS offers first-class Docker Compose integration.
- Isolation: Deploy complex, multi-container applications (e.g., a Next.js frontend, a Python backend, and a Redis cache) via a single
DeploymentRecipe. - Environment Management: Manage container environment variables securely via the integrated Vault.
- Volumes & State: Persist data securely using Docker volumes backed by automated snapshot policies.
3. Kubernetes (K8s) Clusters
(Coming Soon) For enterprise-grade orchestration, RasnuOS acts as a centralized control plane for your distributed Kubernetes clusters.
- Fleet Management: View the health of nodes, pods, and deployments across multiple federated clusters.
- Helm Integration: Deploy standard helm charts directly from the RasnuOS interface.
- AI Triage: When a pod enters
CrashLoopBackOff, the AI AutoPilot automatically fetches the pod logs, diagnoses the error, and suggests or implements a fix.
Vendor Lock-In is Dead
Because RasnuOS is stack-agnostic, it fundamentally breaks vendor lock-in. You can effortlessly migrate a Node.js API running natively on an AWS EC2 instance into a Docker container running on a Hetzner bare-metal server, using the exact same RasnuOS control panel.
