Webhooks & Event Streaming
Polling a REST API to check the status of a long-running migration or deployment is incredibly inefficient. For real-time, event-driven architectures, RasnuOS supports robust Webhook integrations.
Inbound Webhooks (Triggers)
Inbound webhooks allow external services to trigger actions inside RasnuOS securely.
When you configure an Inbound Webhook for a specific Server Group, RasnuOS generates a unique, cryptographically signed URL. You can paste this URL into external services like GitHub or GitLab. The moment a developer merges a pull request, GitHub sends a JSON payload to the webhook, and RasnuOS instantly commands the Agent to pull the new code.
Outbound Webhooks (Notifications)
Outbound webhooks allow RasnuOS to stream real-time events to your external services.
You can subscribe to highly granular events, such as server.offline, deployment.failed, or ssl.renewed. When these events occur, the RasnuOS Control Plane fires a secure JSON payload to your destination URL (e.g., a Slack incoming webhook, or a PagerDuty integration).
