Contributing to the RasnuOS Agent
Explore the repository layout
Start with the repository README at github.com/rasnu/os-agent and our platform architecture overview. The agent is organized into focused internal modules: executor, guardrails, PTY, file manager, tunnel, migration, self-updater, and audit.
Run the automated test suite
Clone https://github.com/rasnu/os-agent and run the repository test suite locally. Every module is verified with race detection enabled before any pull request is merged.
Pick an open issue or propose an enhancement
Look for good first issue and help wanted labels on GitHub. Additional unit test coverage across telemetry streaming and log scrubbing is especially welcome.
Submit a pull request with test assertions
Keep pull requests focused and atomic. Any new command guardrail rule must include positive and negative test assertions verifying zero false-positive regressions.
