What happens to my apps if RasnuOS is unreachable?

Your websites, databases, and applications keep running normally with zero interruption. Your servers never depend on RasnuOS to stay online. If a network drop occurs, the agent simply caches health readings locally and reconnects automatically when the connection returns.

Do I need to open SSH ports or share root SSH keys?

No. The agent connects outward from your server over standard HTTPS (port 443). You do not need to share root SSH keys or leave inbound ports open to the public internet.

Which operating systems are supported?

RasnuOS runs on Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, Rocky, Alpine), macOS, and Windows Server on both x86_64 and ARM64 machines. The agent is a single lightweight file (< 15 MB) that uses less than 0.5% CPU.

How are my passwords and API keys protected?

Sensitive credentials are encrypted in your workspace vault and sent to your server only in temporary memory when an approved task runs. They are never saved to disk or shell history, and are wiped from memory immediately after use.

Can I control what different team members are allowed to do?

Yes. On Startup / Team, Business, and Enterprise plans, you can assign Viewer, Operator, Admin, or Owner roles. Viewers can check server health and logs, while only Operators and Admins can approve changes or open live browser terminals. You can also route approval requests and alerts to ServiceNow, Telegram, Email, or custom HTTP webhooks.

Is there a complete history of who ran what?

Yes. Every approved or rejected plan, terminal session, file edit, and command result is recorded in a tamper-evident activity log with the timestamp and the team member who approved it, ready to export to CSV anytime.

How do I know agent updates are safe?

The server agent is open source on GitHub and every release is digitally signed. Before updating, the agent verifies the cryptographic signature and cancels the update automatically if anything does not match.

How does moving files or apps between two servers work?

RasnuOS connects your source and destination servers directly to each other over a temporary encrypted connection. Your files transfer straight from server to server with checksum verification, without being stored in our cloud.

Do I still get a normal terminal and file manager?

Yes. Whenever you want direct hands-on control, you can open multiple live terminal tabs right in your browser or browse, edit, upload, and restore files visually—without managing SSH keys.

What is deducted from my usage wallet?
